Étude 31 is a big hand carved sculpture in wood with abstract form. The wood carving features natural grain patterns throughout the hand carved surface and visible chisel marks with lead metal inserts. This substantial piece combines organic curves with geometric shapes. The artist explores volume through careful material reduction. The piece is made of 2 pieces that can be assembled in different ways. Made in bass wood.
