One-of-a-kind piece
Large-scale handwoven textile art piece by Emma Shepherd. Woven from sustainable banana fibre (a by-product of banana cultivation) with linen. Features naturally dyed elements using walnut, eucalyptus and iron. Open leno weave structure with inlay technique creates sentinel-like motifs. Is mounted using timber cleats with wall brackets that sit over screws in the wall for mounting.
