To preserve the natural rush weave, keep the chair away from prolonged direct sunlight, which may cause the fibres to fade or become brittle. Avoid excessive humidity, damp environments and direct contact with water, and wipe away any spills immediately with a soft, dry cloth. Dust regularly using a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner on a low setting, and refrain from using household cleaners, oils or chemical products on the woven seat. Avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on the weave and never stand on the seat. Should the chair become wet, allow it to dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat. With proper care, the natural rush weave remains beautiful and durable over time.
