The Kuna is a smoked oak pouf, a low, soft seat that softens language of stone and glass. Textile and timber carry it, a padded top set over a wooden frame. The seat is worked in fabric from Dedar, the celebrated Italian textile house, a name worth dropping, over a base of smoked oak darkened to a deep brown with the grain still legible. As a smoked oak pouf it is the warm, tactile counterpoint to the brand's stone and glass, as much a footrest as a seat. Beneath the seat, a solid oak frame does the structural work, its members interlocking at right angles so the joinery reads as part of the form rather than something tucked away. Quiet and low, the oak pouf settles into a living room or a reading corner, at home in a calm, considered interior. The Kuna is an Italian pouf made to order in Cantù, in Lombardy's long-established furniture district, drawn from a curated material palette of full-slab stone, solid timber, and premium Italian glass.
