The heavy iron base showcases hammered textural edges while the opaline glass creates a soft, ethereal glow when illuminated. The lamp features a heavy, hand-wrought or welded iron pedestal stand showcasing artistic scrolled details on both the upper neck and the structural feet. The globe rest is finished with a beautifully hammered textural edge. It cradles a spectacular cased-glass globe shade in a rare, vibrant mint/seafoam green hue. When unlit, the glass has a smooth, milky pastel perfection; when illuminated, it transforms, emitting a soft, ethereal, and beautifully diffused atomic glow.
Material: Wrought/Welded Iron, Cased Opaline Glass. Period: Circa 1960–1970s (European artisan blacksmith production). Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The iron has a fantastic authentic patina, the wiring is functional, and the delicate mint glass globe is completely free of chips or cracks.
