Torii Coffee Table

A manifesto piece from Scenarii Edition, the coffee table explores the relationship between the imperfect richness of reused materials and the rigor of a mirror-polished stainless-steel frame. Emerging from a spatial narrative built around salvaged marble, it paves the way for the multiple variations that will define the editorial line’s identity. For the special Design Miami edition, the polished stainless steel enters into dialogue with the warmth of walnut, creating a tension between metallurgical precision, fine woodworking craftsmanship, and the natural imperfections of wood. The tabletop, made of reassembled slats crafted from collected offcuts, reveals the beauty of fragmentary material and generates a pattern born from repetition. The legs, shaped as cross-formed columns, embody both stability and complexity, while the polished stainless steel lends the table a contemplative dimension. Produced as a limited series, each piece carries the singularities of its original materials. The project asserts an architectural and mindful approach to design, where reused matter becomes a language and every offcut gains meaning.
