TMP is a limited-edition sculptural pendant lamp by Todomuta Studio, handcrafted from aluminium and acrylic. Its layered geometric composition explores the relationship between light, material and form, creating a piece with a strong sculptural presence. The design unfolds through a series of overlapping planes, curved elements and geometric surfaces that create a complex composition of volumes and voids. The contrast between the precision of the metal structures and the translucent qualities of the acrylic gives the piece a distinctive architectural character. Its handcrafted production requires exceptional precision and meticulous attention to detail. The fabrication of each element, the integration of the different materials and the careful execution of joints and finishes are essential aspects of the production process. The arrangement of its elements creates a different composition on each side, giving the impression of discovering a new form as the viewer's perspective changes. Light plays an essential role in its design. The interaction between the satin-finished metal surfaces and the acrylic elements creates a subtle interplay of reflections, shadows and transparencies.
