Experience the extraordinary estate of Tenuta Borgia, located on the beautiful island of Pantelleria, Italy. This stunning property was once the summer escape of baroness Rosa Borgia and is now open for everyone to enjoy. Wavy captured a visual diary of both the estate and the island during a week-long excursion in April 2017, showcasing the timeless beauty of Tenuta Borgia.
Originally used as an oasis to protect the surroundings from modernization and demolition, Tenuta Borgia includes seven Dammusi in various sizes, all available for rent. Each interior is elegantly decorated by Rosa herself, providing a sophisticated and refined atmosphere for guests. The estate also features a neighboring farm that processes wine and produces the most luscious olive oil, adding to the luxurious experience of Tenuta Borgia.
Maison Plage is an ode to the meeting of unlikely things—images, artefacts, artworks, ideas—and to the transportive possibilities revealed when they’re collaged. (Its name translates, quite literally, to house and beach, suggesting both French grandeur and the American coast.) Since its founding in 2019 by Kelly Croteau, it’s become a destination for those seeking rare, out of print, and new books, especially those relating to fashion, art, design and photography—from the avant-garde to the natural world. Each book is hand-selected by Croteau, who travels widely to source them.
