Stainless Steel Floor Lamp - Lasso Series

The Lasso Lamp is a sculptural stainless steel floor lamp with opal glass, from the Lasso Collection. Formed from a single loop of mirror-polished steel, it rises from the floor like a rope caught mid-swing, poised at the moment before the line falls. The Lasso pieces are shaped under high water pressure, then hand-worked into the coiling, rope-like geometry that defines the series. The hammered steel fragments the light around it while an opal glass globe at the top diffuses a soft, ambient glow, so the lamp gives light and reflects it at once. Handcrafted from recyclable materials with a zero-casting process, each lamp is unique in its hand-finished detail and works as a light source and a sculptural anchor in equal measure. Nitush Aroosh is the collectible design studio of brothers Nitush and Aroosh Mahipal, based in New Delhi, India. Self-taught and process-driven, they turn stainless steel into sculptural furniture and lighting through hydroforming and hand-hammering. Dimensions: 40 x 45 x H 170 cm.
