Stainless Steel Cube Stool
The Cube Stool is a mirror-polished stainless steel seating object, a plain geometric volume turned strange by its finish. Grade 304 steel absorbs and recomposes whatever stands near it, so the piece disappears into a room and unsettles it at the same time. Hollow and light despite its visual density, the pouf is shaped in steel and finished by hand. Its reflective planes take in walls, furniture and people, which makes it a quiet collaborator in how a space is read rather than an object that sits apart from it. Compact and precisely proportioned, it blurs functional seating and art object, and suits interiors where even sitting down becomes an encounter with form. Nitush Aroosh is the New Delhi collectible design studio of brothers Nitush and Aroosh Mahipal. Self-taught and process-led, they shape stainless steel into sculptural furniture and lighting: fluid forms, stilled in time. Dimensions: 40 x 40 x H 40 cm. Material: Grade 304 stainless steel.
