The KABIKI Totem Cabinet by Daniel Couttolenc is a limited edition solid oak totem — one of only 20 — that stands at 206 cm, proportioned from floor to ceiling by the logic of the vesica piscis. It is the most monumental piece in the KABIKI collection: a vertical meditation on the symbolic source, repeated and stacked into a presence that is as much architecture as furniture. Each tier carries the eye upward, the eye motif of the vesica piscis returning at every level as a reminder of intention. KABIKI is drawn from the vesica piscis — the almond-shaped figure formed at the intersection of two circles of equal radius, where each circle's centre lies on the circumference of the other. An ancient symbol of feminine energy and the potential to bring something new into being, it becomes in KABIKI the generative module from which all proportions derive. Each piece is handcrafted in Mexico in solid oak with a black finish. Limited to 20 pieces, the edition is closed once made.
