SK7-B — Sculptural Ceramic Vase. Limited edition 25 + 1 AP

Inspired by Seville's Regionalist architecture, SK7-B is a sculptural ceramic piece from the SKELETONS collection. Its open form, irregular reliefs and high-gloss dark mahogany glaze define its distinctive sculptural character. The SKELETONS collection explores the hidden internal structures of Seville's Regionalist architectural ornamentation. It proposes a reverse journey to the origins of form, revealing the beauty of elements traditionally used as temporary supports during the artisanal shaping of clay. Its composition features an open, distinctly horizontal body that narrows towards a small base. Irregular reliefs extend across its surface, creating a silhouette with pronounced edges and a texture that seems to capture the movement of the material during modelling. These variations add depth to the piece and reinforce its sculptural presence. The piece is produced through an artisanal process that combines the use of moulds with meticulous handwork. This manual intervention allows the details and finishes of each piece to be carefully refined, preserving the expressiveness of its reliefs and the richness of its surface. The high-gloss dark mahogany glaze gives it an almost metallic appearance that contrasts with the ceramic nature of the material. Light reflects differently across each relief, accentuating the depth of the textures and the distinctive qualities of its form. Produced in a limited edition of 25 pieces + 1 artist's proof, SK7-B is a collectible design piece in which the exploration of artisanal processes, the expressive qualities of ceramics and the beauty of imperfection lie at the heart of its identity.
