Rectangular Italian Box in Silver-plated, 1960s
In 1960s Italy, even utilitarian objects adopted a simple, architectural style. This rectangular box in silver-plated metal and light oak is a perfect example. Its silver-plated metal exterior displays an authentic patina, with slight imperfections in places, discreet reminders of its age and history. Far from detracting from its elegance, these nuances enhance its vintage character. The lid opens to reveal a perfectly preserved light wood interior: the oak, left in its natural hue, has intentionally not been stained to introduce a luminous variation within our selection and to preserve the piece's authenticity. The lines are simple, balanced, with a discreet grip and a continuous hinge highlighting the quality of manufacture.
Its dimensions – 23 cm long, 13 cm wide and 4.5 cm high – offer ample storage space for documents, jewelry, accessories or correspondence. An elegant and timeless piece, marked by a beautiful patina of time, ideal for bringing a light and refined touch to a vintage or contemporary interior.
