A museum-grade statement piece from one of France’s legendary Art Deco glass houses, this exceptionally rare 1920s vase is a masterclass in sophistication. Moving away from the hyper-coloration of the Art Nouveau era, the celebrated Muller brothers—embraced clean, architectural geometry with this magnificent "tulip" silhouette. Standing 20.5 cm high with a dramatic, broadly flared 23 cm rim and a substantial weight of 1.7 kg, its rarity lies in its heavy, mold-blown vertical ribbing. This unique structure causes light to refract unevenly through the fumé glass, creating an exquisite play of shadow that shifts beautifully between rich tobacco and soft bronze tones throughout the day. Signed Muller Frères Lunéville on the 12 cm base, this 100-year-old treasure is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or structural damage. It carries an honest, authentic patina, including light shelf-wear to the bottom and some minor white calcification marks inside the very lower base from historic use.
