Model 2030 Floor Lamp by Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Luxus, Sweden, 1960s

An elegant Model 2030 floor lamp by Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Luxus, Sweden, dating from the 1960s. The design combines a slender brass stem and circular base with a sculptural white acrylic shade, creating a refined contrast between the warm metal and softly diffused light. The wide, flared upper shade gives the lamp its distinctive architectural silhouette, while the white acrylic inner shade softly filters the light and creates a warm, atmospheric glow. Its balanced proportions, clean lines and thoughtful use of materials are characteristic of the Scandinavian modernist approach associated with the Kristiansson brothers. It is a refined example of Swedish mid-century lighting design. Its understated yet sculptural presence makes it equally suitable as a functional floor lamp or as a decorative element within a contemporary interior. Measurements: H 139 x Ø 31.7 cm
