Venetian glassmaking has thrived in Venice, especially on the isle of Murano, since the 13th century. Today, Murano is renowned for its exquisite art glass, characterised by intricate designs and superior quality. The Michele collection pays tribute to the proprietor of a longstanding family enterprise rooted in Murano's history. Michele, raised in the very house that now houses his workshop, presents Akua Objects' most Venetian-inspired line. This collection showcases Italian carafes, vases, and bowls with a touch of poetry. Each piece is an exclusive creation meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, following the ancient Murano tradition.
