1970s, in the wake of the Brutalist movement, when everyday objects adopted more expressive forms and textured finishes. This box is part of the production of David Marshall, known for his metal pieces with a strong material presence. Original edition. Metal and brass structure, characteristic artisanal work of the artist. Textured, irregular surface, with a contrast between polished and rough areas. Signature present. Particularly refined, fluid, and precise opening mechanism. Significant weight, confirming quality manufacturing. Very good overall condition. Beautiful brass patina, uniform and enhancing. The piece is perfectly preserved, with no notable alterations. Dimensions: height 6 cm, width 18.5 cm, length 24 cm. Can be used as a storage box on a desk, or as a display piece on a console, alone or as part of a Brutalist ensemble.
