Italian White Lacquered Folding Table with Brass Details, 1960s

An elegant Italian folding dining table dating from the 1960s, characterized by its architectural construction and clever transformable design. Made from wood with a white lacquered finish, the table features rounded supports accented by refined brass details and original brass hinges. The ingenious folding mechanism allows the table to transform from a compact console-like form into a generously proportioned dining table. The hinged tabletop opens while the side supports swing outward, creating a stable and balanced base. Its restrained geometry, warm brass accents and monochromatic finish give the piece a distinctly Italian modernist character. Both functional and sculptural, it is particularly suited to interiors where flexibility and thoughtful design are equally important. The table remains in good vintage condition, with age-related wear and patina consistent with its history and use. Measurements: H 72 x W 202 x D 65 / 130 cm
