An oil on panel still life by Gunnar Hållander, signed lower right. A group of objects, vessels, a sphere, geometric forms, arranged across a grey ground, the composition resolved almost entirely in tones of grey and white with two punctuating notes of ochre yellow. The restrained palette and flattened, painterly handling are characteristic of Hållander's still life work from this period. Re-framed in a painted beech wood box frame. Dimensions: 38 x 61cm / framed 49.5 x 73cm (15" x 24" / framed 19.5" x 28.7"), Condition: some grazing and paint loss.
