Fado Wall Lamp designed and crafted by Joana Vilaca Studio is an object that is more than ist function is a sculpture on the wall. To be admired and inspiring you and your ambience on the day to day. It reflects the process of hand work through form, color and light. Fado („destiny, fate“) Fado is a form of music characterized by mournful tunes and lyrics, infused with a sense of resignation, fate and melancholy. This is loosely captured by the Portuguese word „saudade“, or longing.
