F675 "Butterfly" Cowhide Armchair by Pierre Paulin for Artifort 00's
This iconic armchair is the F675 “Butterfly” model, a major creation by French designer Pierre Paulin for Dutch manufacturer Artifort , originally designed in the 1960s. Produced here in a superb cowhide version, stretched over a geometric chrome tubular structure, it embodies the formal audacity and search for comfort specific to Paulin's modernist design. With its taut lines and sprung seat, the F675 offers a feeling of lightness and enveloping comfort.
The cowhide, both raw and refined, adds a unique and authentic touch that enhances the armchair's sculptural silhouette. This model, published in the 2000s, was purchased new about ten years ago directly from Artifort and has never been used . It is therefore in absolutely perfect condition , ready to start a new life with a design enthusiast. Currently not produced by Artifort, the F675 Butterfly remains a true collector's item, coveted by 20th-century design enthusiasts and admirers of the work of Pierre Paulin.
