'Conversations' vol. 02 Painting on Canvas

Media: Acrylics, dry pastel, oil pastel 130x130cm This work came from my interest in observing people and the way certain moments stay only as fragments. I wanted the figures to feel present, but not completely defined — almost as if they are appearing and disappearing at the same time. There is a quiet movement in the painting, like a memory of a place, a conversation, or a passing scene. Some parts are more visible, while others are left unfinished or covered by softer layers. I like this balance between what is shown and what remains unclear. Emotion is always the most important part of my work. I am interested in the feeling a painting carries, not only in the image itself. Through these figures, gestures and pale layers, I keep exploring something inside myself — the way I notice people, distance, silence, and the small moments that often pass without being fully understood. The soft colours and loose marks create a sense of calm, but there is also tension in the unfinished areas. For me, this painting is about presence, memory and the fragile feeling of something that was there for a moment, but is already starting to fade.
