In 1970s Italy, research into tubular furniture explored a precise balance between visible structure and suspended comfort. This armchair by Antonello Mosca is part of this constructive logic. Armchair in chrome-plated steel and leather, designed by Antonello Mosca, produced by Produzione Forma, Italy, circa 1970. Bent steel tube structure, chrome finish. Seat in thick stretched leather, fixed and held by folding and stitching, without padding, using a technique that favors the natural flexibility of the material. The leather has a beautiful, deep and nuanced patina. Supple, with no structural breaks. Visible and consistent signs of use. First owner. Comfortable overall, with firm support. Piece from Milan.
