The Cassina Cab 413, designed in 1977 by Italian architect and designer Mario Bellini, is a landmark in modern furniture design. With its revolutionary concept of “dressing” a chair like a tailored garment, Bellini combined craftsmanship, material integrity, and sculptural elegance in a way that remains striking today. This set of six chairs features a tubular steel frame entirely clad in dark brown saddle leather. Each cover is precisely cut and sewn, then pulled over the frame and secured with zippers, a pioneering technique at the time, and one that has since become iconic.

Minimal in construction yet rich in presence, the Cab 413 embodies both architectural rigor and organic fluidity. Over the years, the natural leather develops a distinctive patina, giving each chair a unique and timeless character.
