FAQ

What type and size of candles do the three hands accommodate (taper/dinner candles, tealights, standard diameter)?

Designed to hold taper or dinner candles across its three hands.

Is this piece signed by Delphine Miquel and is it a unique piece or part of a numbered edition? Does it come with a certificate of authenticity?

This is a unique piece, signed by Delphine Miquel and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Is the ceramic and blue glaze heat-resistant and safe for use with lit candles, or is it intended primarily as a decorative/display piece?

The ceramic and blue glaze are heat-resistant and safe for use with lit candles.

What are the recommended care and cleaning instructions for the glazed ceramic surface?

Hand-sculpted in high-fired stoneware with a blue glaze, this piece is easy to maintain. To clean, simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a little mild soap if needed, avoiding the dishwasher and abrasive sponges. The stoneware withstands candle heat, though we recommend using well-fitting candles, never letting them burn down to the ceramic, and always allowing the piece to cool completely before cleaning. Never leave a lit candle unattended. To remove wax, let it harden, then soften it with a hairdryer on low heat and wipe it away, using a wooden tool if needed and never metal.

Is this candle holder available in other glaze colors or finishes beyond the blue shown?

This candle holder is available exclusively in the blue glaze shown.

Does this piece arrive fully finished and ready to use, and is it protectively packaged for safe shipping of fragile ceramic?

This piece arrives fully finished and ready to use, carefully secured in protective packaging to ensure the safe shipping of the fragile ceramic.
