  • EXCLUSIVE WORK
Between the Finding and the Becoming: seven works from a practice in motion. These works emerge in the wake of Finding Ground (2025) — not as a new series, but as the practice continuing to move. We've all been here. The not-quite-yet. The almost. These works live in that place — and if you've felt it, you'll know it when you see it. Colour experiments, new stitch formations — the hand stretching further into what becomes possible when steadier ground is found beneath it. Transitionary, alive, moving in real time. These pieces explore the same spirit of steadiness, but bring into the light something Finding Ground perhaps only gestured toward: that place not quite arrived at. The threshold. The becoming. Hand dyed using natural earth pigments and recycled cotton twill, finished in a bespoke solid walnut frame.

FAQ
This describes 'seven works' from the series — am I purchasing one specific piece, and if so is the exact piece shown in the photo the one I will receive, or is it chosen/assigned at random?
You will receive the exact piece shown in the photograph.
How is this framed textile piece mounted on the wall? Is hanging hardware (D-rings, wire, cleat) included and pre-installed on the walnut frame?
The piece arrives fully ready to hang, with the mounting hardware pre-installed on the walnut frame.
Natural earth pigments can fade over time — have these dyes been fixed/treated for lightfastness, and is the piece safe to hang in indirect daylight without significant colour fading?
As these are natural earth pigments, some gradual fading is to be expected over time. We recommend hanging the piece away from direct sunlight to best preserve its colours.
Is the textile exposed in the walnut frame, or is it protected behind glass/acrylic glazing?
The textile is presented exposed within the walnut frame, without glass or acrylic glazing.
What are the recommended care and cleaning instructions for the hand-dyed textile and walnut frame (e.g. dusting, humidity considerations)?
We recommend gentle seasonal dusting to maintain the piece, and keeping it out of direct sunlight to protect both the hand-dyed textile and the walnut frame.
Are custom options available — e.g. a different frame size or a bespoke colour palette instead of Terracotta/Rust/Wine?
Customisation is not available, as each piece is entirely one-of-a-kind.
