Asymmetric Vase No. 1 is a single original, a hand-built stoneware vase made to lean. The tilt is planned. Beige high-fire stoneware, sand-textured and unglazed outside, glazed bronze inside, so it holds water. Signed on the bottom. It stands on its own on a console, shelf or sideboard, with stems or empty. For a project, it is a signed original with one clear idea a designer can explain to a client in a sentence. Materials: Beige high-fire stoneware clay. Bronze glazed interior. Tactile, sand-textured unglazed exterior. Dimensions: Height: 14" (35 cm) Width: 6.5" (16 cm) Length: 12" (30 cm) Care: Hand wash only Hand-built in my San Francisco Bay Area studio. Finishes may appear slightly different in person due to natural lighting and screen variations.

FAQ

Does this signed original come with a certificate of authenticity or edition numbering (since it is described as 'No. 1')?

Yes, this signed original is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity confirming its edition numbering.

Given the intentional tilt, is the vase stable on its own when filled with water and stems, or does it require support?

Despite its intentional tilt, the vase remains fully stable on its own, even when filled with water and stems, requiring no additional support.
