Art Deco Metal Box
An elegantly simple rectangular box in Art Deco style, crafted in 1935 by the esteemed company GAB in Sweden.
The box rests on four ornamental feet and is made from polished pewter. The lid features a sleek, stylized rectangular decoration in bakelite and pewter, while the interior is lined with warm birch wood. Originally designed for storing cigarillos, it also serves beautifully as a jewelry box.
Stamped with the distinguished GAB logo, this piece showcases the functional and timeless appeal of early 20th-century Scandinavian metalwork. It remains in good vintage condition, with surface wear in accordance with age and use, such as a few light scratches, adding a charming patina to its appearance.
