Barbier Sculptural Lamp 1970s
This French chrome over brass sculptural table lamp is truly exceptional, crafted by the renowned furniture and light designer Philippe Barbier. Working in Paris during the 1960s and 1970s, Barbier was highly regarded for his unique lighting designs for French film sets, operating under the name 'Maison Barbier'. His signature pieces featured polished chrome over brass in a variety of sculptural shapes. Choose from either pale blue linen, rust sateen, or off-white hemp handmade lampshades from Astrid Textiles in Italy. The chrome finish may show some subtle signs of aging, but nothing that detracts from its overall beauty.
Available with your choice of pointy lampshade in either pale blue linen, rust sateen or off-white hemp handmade in Sweden with Italian fabrics from Astrid Textiles. Updated with new electrics, twisted fabric cord, brass fittings for an E27 lightbulb and new EU plug and switch. French, Chrome, 1970s. Some discreet age related marks and dents to chrome finish. H 40cm (incl lampshade), W 10cm, D 10cm. Lampshade 45cm Diameter. Lampshades are made to order so expect 1-2 weeks delivery.
