Large Swedish Art Deco Adam & Eve Pewter Amphora, 1930s
A remarkable Swedish pewter vase featuring beautiful engravings depicting Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. This large piece showcases traditional Scandinavian Art Deco design with its elegant amphora form and decorative grape-motif handles. Originally given as a wedding gift nearly 90 years ago, the base is subtly inscribed "Minne på bröllopsdagen" ("Memory of the wedding day"), making this both a stunning decorative piece and a touching testament to enduring love. The 'K8' hallmark on the base is a Swedish quality mark confirming its 1936 production.
