Spherical Art Deco Pewter Vase by C.G. Hallberg, 1929
Elegant pewter vase by the renowned Stockholm firm C.G. Hallberg, crafted in 1929 as confirmed by base markings. This sophisticated spherical form features ornate decorative handles characteristic of the Swedish Art Deco period. Most likely designed by celebrated silversmith and designer Sylvia Stave, who began creating pieces for Hallberg while studying at the University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Sweden and later served as the company's artistic director from 1931 to 1939.
