No. 06 Standing Mirror Sculpture - Smoke

This special edition series of three-dimensional mirroring sculptures is mouth blown into soft volumes from fluid hand, heat and air formed glass. Reflecting all around, the fluid sculptures expand our surroundings.

Each mirroring sculpture is free-hand mouth blown in fluid glass which gives every piece a unique shape, flow and character. The CONTEMPORARY REFLECTIONS are silvered inside, so it's scratch proof and creates fluid one of a kind movements silhouettes and volumes. It is a slow, layered crafting technique, with many steps and hands involved. Each object is truly unique and within the glass, air bubbles and lines may occur which are a genuine impression of the handcrafted character of the mouthblown glass. These characteristics are a natural proof of the mouthblown one of a kind character of each sculpture and momentum crystalized in each object.
