Certificate of Authenticity

A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is a document issued by a reputable source that confirms the genuineness of an artwork. Often, COAs are signed by the artist, but they can also be signed by the gallery representing the artist or the printmaker who collaborated on the piece. For works sold in the secondary market, COAs are frequently issued by authorized estates or foundations.

COAs usually contain the artist's name, the artwork's title, date, medium, and dimensions, and, whenever possible, an image of the piece.

The Tronco Bench is a mirror-polished stainless steel bench from the Tronco Collection by Nitush Aroosh, a sculptural seat drawn from the memory of a fallen log. Grade 304 steel folds and bends the room, the light and the viewer into reflections that never settle the same way twice. Every Tronco form begins as stainless steel inflated under high water pressure, a hydroforming process that leaves the piece hollow and light. The surface is then hammered by hand until it undulates, so the texture reads as movement rather than pattern, and no two pieces resolve identically. Hollow construction keeps the bench roughly 30% lighter than a cast equivalent, and rust-resistant Grade 304 steel suits it equally to a terrace, a hallway or a living room. Nitush Aroosh is a collectible design studio run by brothers Nitush and Aroosh Mahipal in New Delhi, India. Self-taught and process-led, they work stainless steel into sculptural furniture and lighting: fluid forms, stilled in time. Dimensions: 150 x 40 x H 45 cm. Material: Grade 304 stainless steel. Available in Matt, Shiny and Matt + Shiny finishes, in Silver, Gunmetal, Gold and Bronze. Customisation on request.
