Overview
Une sculpture biomorphique primitive intitulée « Fabeldjur », signifiant bête mystique en suédois par l'artiste et designer suédois Bertil Hugo Lundgren (1934-2020).
Cette magnifique sculpture avec ses trous et creux arbitraires ressemble à une représentation abstraite d’os d’évasion. Rappelant l'artiste britannique Henry Moore et sa fascination et ses études sur les pierres, les os et les coquillages ; « Les os ont une merveilleuse résistance structurelle et une forme dure et tendue, une transition subtile d'une forme à l'autre et une grande variété de sections (Henry Moore, catalogue d'une exposition à la Tate Gallery, 1968).
Lundgren était surtout connu pour avoir conçu la série Hållfast pour l'entreprise suédoise de porcelaine Rörstrand, où il a travaillé entre 1974 et 1979. Ses objets ont été commandés pour de nombreuses sculptures publiques et exposés dans des galeries et des écoles d'art de Göteborg, en Suède.
