Certificate of Authenticity

A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is a document issued by a reputable source that confirms the genuineness of an artwork. Often, COAs are signed by the artist, but they can also be signed by the gallery representing the artist or the printmaker who collaborated on the piece. For works sold in the secondary market, COAs are frequently issued by authorized estates or foundations.

COAs usually contain the artist's name, the artwork's title, date, medium, and dimensions, and, whenever possible, an image of the piece.

This artwork titled "En escalera" (2026), embodies elegance and serenity. It was created using pieces of papyrus papers carefully selected and put together, in form of steps going upwards - hence the title. Subtle black acrylic lines were also added to enhance visual interest. Our team repurposed an antique gold frame, adding a double passepartout to create depth and a refined finish. It measures 38.5 x 33.5 cm and comes inside a wooden box. It is signed in the right bottom and has an authenticity certificate.
