ORPHEE is a sculptural console hand-carved from solid beech wood. Its elongated top flows into sculpted supports, creating a continuous organic structure inspired by natural curves and movement. Each surface is shaped and refined by hand before being stained and finished in deep glossy black, giving the piece a rich and reflective appearance. Handmade in France, the console reflects Antoine Maurice’s approach to contemporary furniture, combining functional sculpture, organic design and traditional woodworking craftsmanship.
Work exhibited at PAD London 2024.
