Dated precisely to 1931 via its official Swedish E8 hallmark, the exterior features subtle hand-engraved scrolling motifs framing a central enamel lid inlay: four playing-card suits—hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades—rendered in vivid red and black enamel set against gilt-toned detailing. Inside, the lid opens to a custom-fitted wood interior designed to store cards, counters, and dice.
