Luciano Costa Estúdio is an independent practice based in Brazil, working primarily in solid jequitibá wood. Each piece is sculpted individually, in collaboration with a small workshop in the south of the country, and made entirely to order. The work begins in conviction, before form. From a singular perspective on life, consciousness gives shape to matter, transforming inner values into concrete form — rescuing the object from chance and giving it intentional meaning.
