Product Information

Overview

Transparentano glass grand vase with organic curves from the 70s, is a masterpiece of Italian craftsmanship. Made on the island of Murano, near Venice, renowned for its centuries-old glassmaking tradition, this vase embodies timeless elegance and captivating beauty of hand-blown glass.

The crystalline transparency of the glass allows light to filter through its walls, creating a subtle play of reflections and gleams that enliven the surrounding environment. Skilled Murano artisans have precisely shaped fluid organic curves that characterize this vase. Inspired by the organic forms of nature, these soft and sinuous curves are reminiscent of the graceful lines of a blooming flower or an elegantly unfurling wave.

The production of this vase required exceptional technical and artistic skills. Murano glassmasters used the glassblowing technique, a process that demands great skill and experience. Using a hollow steel blowpipe, they heated the glass until it was malleable, then precisely blew it to give it its characteristic shape.

Not only is this piece a magnificent decorative object, but it is also a testament to the artistic and craftsmanship heritage of Italy. It embodies the retro aesthetic of the era, where organic forms and the transparency of glass were highly valued.
