Glass storage compartment by Fontana Arte 70's

Fontana Arte was an Italian design company founded in 1932 that produced high-quality furniture and lighting. In the 1970s, the company created a line of very elegant glass valet trays, which have become highly sought-after collector's items. These trinket trays were made of thick, clear glass and were often decorated with raised geometric patterns or colored glass designs. Some models also featured integrated mirrors. Fontana Arte glass trinket trays were often associated with a modernist and minimalist aesthetic characteristic of the 1970s. It measures 3 cm high by 17.5 cm wide. Today, these pieces are considered design classics and are highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts. No chips on the glass, a slight scratch underneath, but barely visible.
