'Piece and Quiet' is a series that draws on the technique of découpé, in which a text, musical score, or image was cut up and rearranged to create a new work. In this series, salvaged off-cuts and partially completed prototypes are turned into new chairs and tables. Each piece is unique and handmade in his Brooklyn studio, so very slight variations will occur.

About Shipping & Return Details
Cultivation Objects was established in 2020 by Nathaniel Wojtalik. The studio, based in Brooklyn, often employs an unusual approach to materials, blurring the line between the natural and the man-made. With an ongoing effort to develop a more sustainable, if not carbon-positive, design practice, he frequently experiments with lifting unconventional materials from the waste stream to incorporate them as fundamental aspects of the objects. In a constantly evolving world of mass-produced goods, Cultivation Objects consistently investigates shapes and materials that prompt a pause for thought. Allowing something initially objectionable to find appeal. A steadfast commitment to high levels of craftsmanship is maintained throughout all processes, even when materials pose challenges. Above all, each object is crafted with kindness at its core.
