Crafted in the 1960s for the company Ystad Metall, this striking relief features intricate, almost mystical artistry. The piece bears her monogram signing and is fitted with a hanging leather strap.
Ulla Fogelklou-Skogh was a skilled artist who gained international recognition in the 1930s. Her work is characterized by detailed designs with mythological and symbolic motifs. Her innovative works in silver, cast iron, bronze, glass, and other materials established her as a significant figure in defining the aesthetic and cultural value of Swedish decorative arts during a period when Scandinavian Modernism gained global recognition.
