'Lugh' Table Lamp - Ivory
The Lugh lamp, named after the Celtic god of light and craftsmanship. A hand-bent, shaped, and welded steel frame supports this piece, allowing light to glow softly through both the shade and base. The paper’s unique texture is achieved through a traditional Japanese process called Momigami, meaning 'kneaded paper.' This technique, once used by Japanese farmers who could not afford expensive fabric, strengthens the paper, giving it remarkable resilience.
Each lamp is handmade, with no two being exactly alike, subtle variations in symmetry and form are part of its unique character.
