Pierre Jeanneret - Authentic PJ-SI-28-A
Authentic PJ-SI-28-A floating back office cain chair by Pierre Jeanneret - Sometimes named the PJ-010100T teak armchair.
Office chair known as "Office cane chair" in solid teak with seat and backrest in braided canework. "Compass" type double side leg assembly, with the legs connected by a crosspiece and supporting the armrests. Slanted, slightly curved backrest, separate from the seat. These models were used in the architects' office (1956), secretariat (1958), Punjab University (such as the zoology department) and various administrative buildings. Two models are in the collection of Swiss National Museum, Zurich.
