The Oblist
The Oblist is a curated platform for collectible design. Around 500 artists, designers and ateliers across 44 countries, selected one by one by our curation team. We sell objects with presence. Pieces people keep for decades, not seasons.
The Work
In March 2025 we published a short film. It passed 10,000 likes organically. That film is the brief.
Your job is to make the next twenty.
Films built around the pieces and the makers we represent. We won't set a quota: one film that lands is worth more than three that fill a feed. You own everything: concept, script, voiceover, image, motion, edit, sound design. You deliver finished films for our Instagram and our paid campaigns. Same standard as our curation. Nothing decorative. Nothing generic.
How You Work
You start from real assets — product photography, atelier imagery, archive material from our artists — and extend them with generated footage where it serves the story. Runway, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Premiere Pro, and whatever replaces them next quarter. The tools will change. The eye is the job.
You'll work directly with the two founders of The Oblist: briefs, feedback, and greenlights stay close to the source.

- You can write a voiceover line we would publish. "Curation is not about more. It's about meaning." That's the register.
- Your feed already looks like ours: collectible design, fashion archives, vintage dealers, architecture, image-makers.
- You know Charlotte Perriand, Gaetano Pesce and Faye Toogood without googling.
- Your generated frames don't look generated.
- You've made films before, for brands or for yourself, and they hold up without the story of how they were made.
Terms
Freelance, fully remote, long term. A monthly rate on a recurring contract — we're building a lasting collaboration, not commissioning one-offs. Full usage rights on delivered work, organic and paid, source files included. You keep your other clients.
Apply
Send three things:
- 1. Your work. Non-negotiable. Films you've already made, as close as possible to what we do, AI-assisted or not. If you don't have that yet, send a presentation of how you'd approach an Oblist film: treatment, frames, references. A deck can open the conversation; only executed work signs the contract.
- 2. The five best-curated accounts you follow. This tells us more than a CV.
- 3. One idea for an Oblist film, in two sentences.
