A circular frameless mirror in thick bevelled glass, set into a curved walnut base. Originally from an Italian hat shop, it has the quiet authority of well-made commercial furnishing from the interwar period. The green-tinted glass edge, visible from the side, is characteristic of quality mirror glass of the period. Gently restored and cleaned. A rare survival in good original condition. Height: 41cm (16.1") x Diameter: 38.8cm (15.3") x Depth: 16cm (6.3"). Condition: Good. Minor wear consistent with age and use. Gently restored and cleaned.
