Art Deco Bronze Bowl | Sweden, 1930s
Distinguished by geometric Greek key handles and a verdigris-like patination, this rare Art Deco bronze bowl was crafted by Sweden's renowned Ystad Brons in the 1930s. The piece exhibits subtle variations in deep green hues that have developed naturally over time. Original Ystad-Brons maker's mark to base. The inscription 'TIAN 1937' suggests this piece may have been specially commissioned as a commemorative gift, a common practice in Swedish society of the period. An elegant vessel suitable for both decorative display and practical use.
Measurements: Width 21 cm (8.3"), Height 4 cm (1.6") Condition: In great vintage condition with very minor surface wear from age and use.
