We create collections of unique handmade objects, experimenting with reused textiles. These series, although different in form and function, share the use of fabric as a language. In this exploration of the visible and the invi- sible, we find that not everything that covers hides; some layers are only there to protect what we do not want to show yet, what is still in the process of being something more, of being what we want it to be. We protect, not out of fragility, but out of the strength to preserve what is ours. This is an act of resistance: to cover, to protect, to inter- pret. But it is also an act of openness: to reveal, to show, to allow others to read in what is covered, their own reflection.
