Studio 8n operates at the intersection of abstraction, function, and form - creating objects meant to be both seen and used. Influenced by minimalism and historical models that fuse aesthetics with purpose, the studio explores painting, sculpture, and design as interconnected practices. Sheets of steel are rolled and bent to evoke the ease of paper, transforming into vessels that frame flowers like painterly compositions. Each piece is cut, welded, and finished by hand in the artist’s Providence, RI studio, inviting both interaction and contemplation.
