DIG IN JAPAN is an online gallery specializing in one-of-a-kind Furniture, Art, and Objects. Established in 2020 by a photographer and a musician, DIJ is a creative impulse born out of lockdown: collecting and documenting a growing collection of works through analog photography. Informed by the legacy of folk arts and a Japanese sensibility, the duo has developed a distinctive visual corpus and curatorial practice where form and poetic utility intersect. DIG IN JAPAN work out of their Pantin atelier, on the outskirts of Paris — a confidential address dedicated to architects, collectors, and international prescribers.
